Everything Was Free After Drugstore Reward!

Here is the short story on everything pictured:

Spent: $10.61 (taxes $7.55-I have a few receipts where I paid exactly the tax and three where the subtotal is negative by a few cents)
Saved: $211.61 or 95%
Drug Store Rewards: $10 +UPR, $1 SCR-revlon beauty tools from Rite Aid
$5 Register Rewards from Walgreens (The cashier gave this to me because it already printed out, my purchases ended up not qualifying for the reward.)

Both pictures contain items from Walgreens and Rite Aid.

I shopped at two different Rite Aid locations this week and received three more Rite Aid store survey invitation codes. Interestingly, one store where I had not shopped before did not have the survey at the end of the receipt.  I’m not certain what’s triggering the codes but I love them. I used up the four I had received last week.

Last week, I went to Walgreen’s because Airwick seems to always be excluded from the Rite Aid sale ads in my region. All three were free after coupons. I also bought (2) Almay make up items and received $5 RR each.  I used these to purchase more Aveeno products this week. Nutra Nail products were also free using the B1G1 coupon, Rite Aid had them on sale at B1G1 last week.

Can you believe I was completely out of body wash? I kept giving them away… All the wonderful Olay products I had bought, gone! I need to keep a better track of my stockpile items.

The long story was that a lot of things did not ring up as advertised. Almost every single transaction at Rite Aid had price adjustments by the manager!  The Aveeno nourishing body didn’t ring up at B1G1 50% off. Did anyone else experience this? Both Rite Aid stores had all trident gum marked as B1G1, they didn’t ring up that way. Although it was not advertised as such, they still adjusted the prices for me. All free after the B1 G1 coupon from the 3/6 Redplum insert.

I only bought two Revlon tools, as I only had two coupons but at the bottom of the receipt, it looked like they will be tracking the total as they did during the winter rewards promotion. The same thing happened for the axe & dove men care sale. I got $36.xx worth and received $10 +UPR. The $6.xx toward the promotion was listed at the bottom of my receipt.
